3. First Time To Boracay Island
Travelling to Boracay Island is complicated and has many factors to calculate. Example: Which Boracay Airport? Remember, Boracay is an island with NO AIRPORT thus you must land on the neighbouring Island province of Aklan. The cheapest Boracay Flight is to Kalibo Airport but the sacrifice for cheap is a 2 hour bus ride to Caticlan Boat Port. (Don’t worry, the bus has air-conditioning.) The alternative is Caticlan Airport which the ticket is usually double or triple but for your price hike you receive only a 5 minute van ride to Caticlan Boat Port.

Now, you have to take a local boat which is called a banka boat to Boracay Island. You can take the public boat which is fairly cheap but with the cheap price comes the inconvenience of waiting till every seat is full. (Meaning you could have a short wait or a very long wait.) Once the boat has landed on Boracay, you are guided to your transportation to your resort, whereas, with the local route you have to haggle you way into a local tricycle taxi to get to your resort.
